She currently devotes much of her life and energy to activism and educating people about the seriousness of the ecological crisis our planet is facing.

We spoke about a wide range of interrelated topics, all of which point to the fact that there needs to be a dramatic paradigm shift in the dominant cultures of this world if we are to avert disaster. If environmental degradation is not slowed or halted, there might not be a future for the human race. This is not hyperbole. Extinction events have happened on this planet in the distant past, and industrial civilization is on the verge of causing yet another one, one that could and must be avoided.
