On November 30th, at around 1am, Mayor Nutter gave the order to the city of Philadephia Police for a night-raid on the Occupy Philadelphia encampment. From riot police to bike police and even on horseback, they came and tried to evict a movement.
After almost eight hours, as dawn came, occupiers showed up at Mayor Nutter's "press" conference. Only very select press was allowed to enter to report on the speech.
Creating a spectacle of a return back "home", around 9:30am, at least 6 SEPTA buses carrying police officers and countless police vehicles raced up the street through red lights with sirens blaring. City Hall remained surrounded and press pushed away by police who stated no photographs were allowed to be taken except from across the street. Perfectly intact tents and goods were thrown away. These items echoed the begining of a movement that has yet to take but it's first steps. It seems that this movement and the commonalities of the will of the people has reached global proportions and unity.
