Occupy Philly Eviction Action and Dance Party, 11/27/11

Occupy Philly was told we had to leave City Hall by 5pm on Sunday, November 27th. With about a thousand supporters, we started off with dinner and an open mic about what kind of world we want to live in. When the police didn't come, we had a midnight dance party, a 2am conga line to Thomas Paine Plaza, and a 5am march against traffic to Rittenhouse Square, where we strolled past police cars at every entrance. Eviction didn't happen, but a lot of fun did! And the 99% held City Hall plaza for another night.

[Note: Sorry it took me so many months to edit this video, and it's still so long! But I wanted to have it up here at least before the actions in a few weeks, so people can see how inspiring our eviction action/dance party was. -Suzy]
